The fine line between fantasy and reality, he's the acceptance that lies just beyond initial judgement.
An academic. His manner of speaking is undoubtedly backed with intelligence, he speaks like he knows more than you but doesn't manage to make it sound patronising - every word feels carefully placed in dialogue, as if he knows - without a doubt - what to say next. As if he's had this conversation before. He looks at everyone with analytical eyes, so dark they seem entirely black. Mystery. He seems visibly insecure but has a sort of shamelessness to his imperfections when they're pointed out rudely. That's right, have an eyeful. Like he's waiting for someone to just try and hurt his exterior, he's teasing. His voice - restrained, like he's trying to take up less space. Like he always has more to say but knows when to stay quiet. Like he's hiding something.
Though, he isn't all sad, mopey and mystery! Not at all. If you got to know him, you'd see he's just trying to get by. Not his fault he has a resting sadness-is-all-i-know-kicked-dog-aesthetic-who face... Just don't dig too deep into his history.
If there's one thing that's right about how people see him, it's that he definitely has skeletons in his closet.
