Manners, Please!
Ironic name because you'll find I have no kindness here. I'm probably gonna be blunt, try to utilise my irritating vocabulary as much as I can and be as honest as possible as to what's going on with my OC's here. This is my website, my rules! If you hate it, go to my blog. Leave a hate comment. I'll make a special webpage for you (kiss kiss).
Enough with the jokes... In general, this is a website dedicated to my three original character: Jane LaFontaine, Francis Neidhart and Isaac Doe! Very intertwined, very important to me. This website will hold their art, their story, any ideas I have for them, any pieces of writing I've made - and if I ever get to it... even short films and videos I've made dedicated to them. I have already made two animatics for them, but I don't know where I put them... oops.
This is best viewed on a firefox browser at 100% zoom on a moniter that's... uhhhrrr. Idk the size of my laptop moniter but its 12 inches wide i think? Does that matter?
Why did you make this website? Why not just use toyhouse or UnVale or Artfight? (Click to expand...)
I have original characters, these very developed and lengthy and creative characters with deep and brooding backstories but alas, my mind doesn't always have the capacity to keep all these things to myself for so long.
"Why don't you just keep all your OC stuff on a website like artfight or toyhouse, then! Must simpler than your whole own site, surely?"
What do you notice about these sites? Warnings. Or, at the very least, guidelines and censors. Though Neocities does have it's own TOS to abide by - it does allow NSFW and explicit content, so long as my profile is marked 18+... but no site warnings, which is what I ultimately want. On other sites you have to put a giant censor that goes 'hey watch out! theres gore and violence here!' and even then you're restricted by what you can post. You have to cover nipples and censor nudity or you have to censor the lore you write down because it's too dark, all of which I Hate. Or it's a website with controversy and shit like that and it's run by people who can at any time lock access to my account or delete all my assets ive posted... which I pray neocities won't do, of course, but from what I can understand this place is moderately free reign soo?
So here we are. This is my website. It'll be relatively simple enough. There's much work to be done, and it can always be improved. But this is my little project.
